RCR Associates President invited to participate in Women’s Enterprise Initiative (WEI) Business Plan Forum

 

February 7, 2011 —Renate Rooney, founder and president of RCR Associates, LLC, was selected to be on an advisory panel for a Women’s Enterprise Initiative (WEI) event held on February 7, 2011. The panel advised businesswoman Cindy Hale of OTW Communications in areas such as business strategy, planning, and operations.

The purpose of WEI is to assist women in developing successful businesses. The WEI Business Plan Forums provide women with an opportunity to have their business plans critiqued while preparing the women to launch a business idea or expand upon an existing one.

"I’m excited to once again participate in the WEI forum. The service the forum provides to women entrepreneurs is invaluable. I’ve seen firsthand how participants have used the information provided to grow their business,” said Rooney, a seasoned executive manager with a broad business background in strategic planning, finance, operations management, information technology, and mergers and acquisitions.

WEI’s goal for the Business Plan Forums is not only to provide intensive help to each presenter whose plan shows promise, but also to serve as both a networking and educational event for those who attend. The connections made through WEI help women gain the skills needed to build their businesses and claim their dreams as entrepreneurs. “The Forum has helped many women business owners chart their own course and achieve considerable success,” said WEI Executive Committee Member Elizabeth Brown.
