Renate Rooney
Renate Rooney is a seasoned executive manager with a broad business background in strategic planning, finance, operations management, information technology, and mergers and acquisitions. As the President of RCR Associates, Renate focuses on driving strategic projects that help companies transform their vision into bottom-line results.
Her commitment to excellence and ability to solve complex challenges, has earned her a reputation for driving unsurpassed growth and increasing shareholder value. As Director of Corporate Business Planning and Analysis for Alpha Industries Inc., Renate developed a strategy that created an entirely new market for the organization and delivered a significant revenue increase. Her success in this position led to her selection as Chief Information Officer where she drove the design and implementation of a corporate-wide information technology strategy. She has also served as Division Controller and Assistant Corporate Controller for a $100M company. In these roles, she was responsible for SEC compliance, business reengineering, and negotiating and managing several joint ventures including the organization’s largest government contract.
Her unique blend of honesty, energy, objectivity and creativity helps organizations build effective, driven teams. And her strong business acumen ensures that every project is grounded in reality and focused on results.
Sought after as an expert in her field, Renate has spoken at conferences throughout the U.S. and is a frequent guest speaker at Northeastern University. Her work has been covered in a number of professional publications including: the Boston Business Journal, CIO Magazine, Managing Automation, PM Network, and IIE Solutions.
Active in her community, Renate has served on the board of directors for New England Women’s Business Owners (NEWBO).
Renate earned an MBA from Suffolk University and a BS in Accounting and Management from Northeastern University.
